I have tried over and over again with out success to do something that is at least somewhat realistic, I have about 3 of those on the go right now, my patience wares thin, but this was the first one done. took about 12 hours, it's my first pin up and I did enjoy doing this. It was a huge challenge for me, but I think I"ll keep trying to do this.

A big thank you goes out to :icontwosilverstars: she always answers all my questions when I have them, and gave me encouragement to try this.

I've been following her tutorial, along with Linda Bergkvist and tutorials by Marta Dahlig.

Feed back would be appreciated, I need tough love!

Well I think she's gorgeous! Very sensuous!
In terms of realism, well I think the key is patience & persistence.
Just keep at it. This effort is more 'realistic' than your usual work, but you'll find that with each attempt (no matter how frustrating it might be) you'll learn something new & improve. Don't try to achieve it all in one go. Set yourself a small goal & try & reach that first. (eg - perhaps just try & digi-paint a pretty eye close up) See how much detail you can put into that & then move on from there. Keep up the great work though. I think you've done really well with this one!

aww thank you! Thats a very good point about small goals and doing small things first, I think I'll try that, I was thinking of doing more portrait style stuff...eliminate the background and whole outfit problem. And yes talk about frustrating! I have so many that are started and not finished, they dont look good and I want to give up, I went through some of the progress shots of really realistic artists...yay for me, theirs started off looking bad too! And I noticed that you have to paint over everything many many times. But i'll get it eventually. Thanks for your encouragement and the fav!

She's very beautiful, I especially like all the shades of purple on her clothes.
